Creating a tool for scriptwriters and worldbuilders

Andrei Kniazev

Hi! My name is Andrei, and I am building LoreHub for you.

Creating new world

I know firsthand what it is like to create pursue a dream and create a new world. When you do your first project, it shapes and complements the world by defining its lore. After all, as soon as something is out from the character's lips and castle appeared on the screen, then all this becomes an eternal part of your world. It is difficult for the screenwriter to keep track of such moments especially when you do not have a tailored tool for it. No one wants to break away from development and spend time synchronizing lore and the content itself.

Where is the Lore?

As a result, when developing a game, we find ourselves in a situation where to find a source of truth can be difficult. Yes, I had different wiki engines that contained this or that information. Yes, I tried to cram the timeline in Excel. Yes, I was forced, like everyone else, to read text files, so that from descriptions you can accurately recreate everything mentioned in the game. But this boring job full of inaccuracies is distracting from the creative process.

So that is why I started LoreHub a long time ago, at first it was created as part of the Lostwood website. Then from iteration to iteration, I decided to make this into a separate service and share this handy tool with everyone.

Development plans

My goal is for LoreHub to become part of the game making process. For this, I already working with developers to understand their needs and improve the tool.

Together we will create a tool for working on the epic sagas of the future!
